"Back to Eden" is a documentary filmed right here on the breathtaking Olympic Peninsula at the beautiful Eden-like garden of Paul Gautschi, a man whose passion for sustainable agriculture along with his belief in the higher power has been intricately woven together to bring to the masses his simple ideas of growing organic vegetables and fruits without the use of fertilizer, irrigation or even tilling of the soil.
The film explains in detail just how Paul came to this realization and shows how you, too, can grow the most lovely, better than organic vegetables using only that which is provided to all of us in nature.
Since it's online premiere a mere two months ago, "Back to Eden" has been viewed by over 37,000 people in 106 countries on 6 continents and it's ideas are already being implemented with success in many gardens throughout the world!
So Kim, after meeting Paul and visiting the garden on a number of occasions decided that she wanted to bring this film to the community in hopes to further Paul's dream, which she shares, to bring an end to companies that are destroying the farmer as well as the quality of the crops and more importantly, to bring an end to world hunger.
Sponsored by the Peninsula International Relations Association, the film will be shown at the Port Angeles High School auditorium in HI-DEF with a special performance by Danny Barnes both prior to and after the showing! In addition, Paul Gautschi himself will be available after the show to answer any questions you might have! The evening begins at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm!
Tickets are DONATIONS ONLY (pay what you can!) and are available at Port Book and News or feel free to mail your donation along with the number of tickets required to :
