Prior to our show, check out "Tanga" at the Port Angeles Library from 7 to 9pm. Tanga plays a wide variety of jazz music, including Latin Jazz (incorporating Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms), Swing, Funk, Blues, and Rock. The core members of Tanga have been together for about ten years and, in one form or another, have frequently delighted audiences at the Juan de Fuca Festival, Lavender Festival, Crab Festival, Concerts on the Pier, Peninsula College, and many other local venues. Members of the band include Ed Donohue on trumpet and flugelhorn; Jim Rosand on keyboards and keyboard bass; Tom Svornich on drums; and Kevin MacCartney on sax, flute, conga drums (5), and EWI (electric wind instrument).
